North Carolina survives a second half surge from Arkansas to win 72-65 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Kennedy Meeks secured a double-double for the Tar Heels with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

  1. After it was 65-60, Arkansas should have kept the offensive intensity. Coach Anderson tried to slow the game down to run a half court offense. Yeah, I get those two controversial calls, but Arkansas' hasn't been a decent 'run the clock down' half court offense since the 90s. 3 minutes was plenty of time for a team like UNC to come back.

  2. way to leave out that blocked shot that went out of bounds but stayed with UNC… Add that call to the missed call on the charge under 2 mins and the huge free throw difference.. smh

  3. I'm a hog fan and the wife's a Tarheel. It was a very interesting household during this game. I love playing the heels and this was a very good game. Beard rushed that last three. He had plenty of time to get a slightly better look. All in all I'm not disappointed and I'm now rooting for the heels to take it all. I'm looking forward to next season. With all that being said, don't let this distract you from the fact that Duke lost.
