2 cans (13.5 fl. oz) coconut milk
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup jackfruit – – chopped finely – see Note 4
1/2 cup macapuno (coconut sport strings) – – see Note 1
1/2 cup ube halaya – – see Note 4
1/4 teaspoon violet liquid food color – – see Note 2
1/4 teaspoon yellow liquid food color – – see Note 2
1 teaspoon pandan flavor – – optional

2 cans (13.5 fl. oz) coconut cream/milk

  1. Hi I tried your recipe twice
    and it does taste good but it doesmt look nice:(
    1. Why is mine not as formed as yours in the video?.did you add rice flour?
    2. no matter how much grease I put, why is the last layer sticky on the pan?. it didnt come out well bec part of the sapin sapin is stock on the pan

    Please advise.
    yours is the only recipe with ube halaya and jackfruit
    I added both at the exact measurements you gave.
